Tis' Done!! BLUE REPSOL CBR 600RR!!!!

HE ACCLAIMED!

It's done! My baby is done!!

It's the Blue Repsol CBR 600RR! I know the name is a mouthful but whenever I say it, it gives me chills. I love the color scheme. It took me about a month and half but I am happy with the result.

I can't wait to give Jenny ride in the back with this bike. I also have a secret for her.
I will reveal the secret as soon as I surprise her with it.

Meanwhile, enjoy the pics.

It's I and my bro hitting up the Ortega Highway today. The curves were very nice and some of the roads were super clean; however, the construction being done there was pretty bad and I was stuck in the construction zone for almost an hour!!!

BTW, my knee was literally 5 inches off the ground. Getting closer and closer to my own nirvana.

Thanks to my bro who dragged me to the canyon.

Ducati 848!!!

HE SAID...ofcourse

At the end of 2007, Ducati Italia will start sending new Ducati 848 to dealers in USA.

The new 848 enjoys all the performance advancements of the entire Superbike family, while adding its own innovations to redefine the middleweight sport bike class.

The words ‘agile’ and ‘refined’ aptly describe the 848. At 168 kg (369 lbs) the 848 is an amazing 20 kg (44 lbs) lighter than its predecessor, and a significant 5 kg (11 lbs) lighter than its larger capacity brother, the 1098.

The highly advanced 848 engine uses an improved method of engine case production in which cases are vacuum die-cast formed. While providing significant weight savings of more than 3 kg (6.5 lbs), this method also ensures consistent wall thickness and increased strength.

Further refinements include a sophisticated wet clutch that offers 1 kg (2.2 lbs) less weight, a much higher service life, improved clutch feel and quiet operation.

I love everything about this bike!!! but why no dry clutch?
WHHHWHHYYYY??!??!?
($20 says Jenny won't get why I am upset about the wet clutch.) :b

My work is almost done!

He said...

When Jenny left to Shanghai, I promised Jenny that by the time she comes back, I will be finished with my bike project! So I won't have to worry about it when I start working.

Well! It's almost done! I truly feel like I can finish it before Jenny comes back. Hopefully it can be a big surprise for her!
Well, maybe not big but a surprise nonetheless. :b
Sanding off the clear-coat, fixing the cracked fairings, primer, wet sanding and masking and painting and masking and painting.... it took me more than a month to get to this stage.
Now, I am almost done! The bike will look like the one in the picture "RC211V"but instead of orange and red, I will have Brilliant blue and Navy Blue. It will look nice!

Also, I need to put special decals on it to make it truly mine. Maybe a character graphic of me and my baby. Any ideas?
